As the Capital Projects Department, the group started with managing the gut-renovation of HPD buildings around the City of New York. An award winning homeless shelter, were constructed to provide housing for their clients in a sensitive and thoughtful design.

With experience came larger projects and new funding sources, such as low income tax-credits, new market tax-credits, HHAP, FHLB and HUD financing. Now after two decades of experience, Ballington is widening their portfolio to include new construction, from the ground up.
